キッチンカウンターやバスタブなど日常生活の中でもよく目にする素材の１つです。
この人工大理石に熱をかけて曲げたり、表面を彫刻加工する事で、機能を保ったまま今までとは異なる表現ができます。
木材との組み合わせや透明アクリルとの組み合わせなど、別素材との組み合わせも面白いかもしれませんね。
CORIAN©, the artificial marble made from acrylic resin and polyester resin as main ingredient, which is one of rather familiar material in our recent daily scenes - often seen as kitchen counter or bath tab.
This artifitial marble can realize different expression/style from the natural marble, e.g. bend by heating, surface sculpture, securing its original functionality.
Coupling with different material such as wood, transparent acrylic resin etc. sounds exciting, isn’t it?
