Niigata is one of the regions most noted for its production of Tsuiki. High quality bronze was discovered around this area making it famous in the tradition of Tsuiki. Pots, kettles and fine pans are popular bronze hammered ware. The products are passed on through the generations and admired for the changes they undergo, which the Japanese believe add character and charm.
