| Brass
Brass looks beautiful with a red illumination and also its sound is extraordinary almost like a musical instrument. The products such as wind-bells and desk bells have been produced with this technique. Even a bear bell has been produced in brass. A small modification could be added to the process to create deferent kinds of finishing. |

| Tin Tin material is so flexible that it can be formed without being cracked or broken. The small sound that happens in bending this material is very unique and some people call it a "tin cry". The tin is popular as kitchen tools like plates because of its antiseptic property. The vase made in tin can keep water and flowers fresh for a long time. |

| Iron Traditionally "nanbutekki" is the most typical example of iron products. Teakettles and ashtrays are very popular but some of these products seem to have excessive pattern pressing on the surface. We feel that the experimental use of iron can be developed more extensively. |

| Bronze This material is used for the Japanese 10 yen coin. The original bronze can be chipped over time so the lead, zinc and tin are added and called blue bronze. Traditionally it has been used to make bells and statues because it is resistant to pressure. It also can be used to deodorize and disinfect. |
