Polycarbonate Sheet Artwork





Project: Iruma outlet park food court " Forest kitchen"

The art piece has been designed for the food court
at Iruma Outlet Park by SAWADADesign studio.
The space is approximately 8m x 25m x 7m.
The designer hung many leaves from the ceiling
to express floating leaves in the air in the forest.
The leaves reflect natural light coming through the skylight
in the middle and the artworkchanges its color depending on the time of day.>

Electric bulb

These hand-made bulbs had been used for fishing boat
and aircraft. The filament is made with tungsten and
its form and structure is carefully calculated by the craftsmen.
Hand made filament creates beautiful line of light.

Material: bulb for squid-fishing vessel, socket in brass w/antique finish
Delivery time: approx. one month
Size: 200mm dia.

The bulb exhibited at the show in Milan is made with
glass bulb that are used in squid-fishing vessel.
The craftsmen tried to achieve mild and warm orange light
by controlling tungsten.
